Amazing Casting Products Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Amazing Casting Products Blog hop! This month the Designer Craft Connection team is working with Amazing Casting Product.

I created the two hearts and butterfly which I painted with distress paint and added some Nuvo embellishing Mousse to age it and add some glimmer.

If you have never used this product you will be amazed at what you can do with it.

To create the mold , you simply add equal parts of the two products. They are like a clay substance so they are easy to combine with your hands. Once they are combine, you make an impression of the item you want to mold and let it dry!

I went on a scavenger hunt in my craft room to see what I could create and here is what I came up with:

I colored the hearts with distress paint as shown below and used walnut stain distress ink to age it.

Here is a close look at the finished items.

Don't forget to stop by the DCC blog to check out some of the other designer projects and enter into a drawing to win this fabulous prize package.

Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think of my project.

Gift of Life

I love making black and white cards and I love washi tape! So I thought I would put the two together with one of the new releases from So Suzy Stamps to create a couple of fun birthday cards.

Now these are not ordinary birthday cards, they are cards made especially for a son or daughter. A special message for a special person!

Butterfly Music

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you one of the new releases this month over at So Suzy Stamps plus an ole favorite of mine!

The new release is called Butterfly Music. It is a gorgeous stamp and makes a beautiful banner. The ole favorite is called World of Reality and is perfect for so many occasions. I have paired them to make a Christmas card.

To see how I created this card, I have provided a video below.

I decided to go with a non traditional Christmas sentiment, but because the sentiment does have the word "imagination" I thought it paired up nicely with the Christmas theme'd card.

Be sure to visit the rest of the design team blogs for more inspiration and ideas!

1 stamp 3 cards - Featuring Street Lamp Stamp

Hey everyone! It is day 3 of my 3 cards 1 stamp series. Today I am introducing two more stamps from So Suzy Stamps that pair up great with the Street Lamp Stamp.

A vintage sleigh is a great addition to any vintage Christmas scene. They both work great with this sentiment!

3 cards using 1 stamp - Day 2

Hi and welcome back to day two of my 3 cards 1 stamp series. Today I want to show you how easy it is to make a beautiful detailed vintage card by and using only 1 stamp!

The stamp I am using in this series is the Street Lamp Stamp from So Suzy Stamps. It is a must have stamp for your Vintage inspired cards. It is also a fantastic stamp to use for the Christmas Season.

Even if this is the only stamp you have this Christmas, there are so many options for cards. By changing up your designer paper, you can create wonderful scene cards with minimal effort.

To see how I created this card, you can link to my You Tube video above. I am having a drawing for a $25 Gift card to So Suzy Stamps. All the details for the drawing are in my video!

I am also sharing my card with the following challenges:
